the obama campaign in painting this election as a choice. it is a stark choice. it's a choice between policies that move this country forward in a new way with a new direction, a new emphasis, for example, on renewable energy, a new emphasis on universal healthcare, a new emphasis on human rights and human dignity education, all of those things that we feel important or going back to the policies of letting wall street do whatever it wants with no government oversight whatsoever. the policies of starting a war here and a war there and a war there and never paying for it. the policies of giving the wealthiest of americans all the tax breaks while screwing the middle class. that's the choice. i thought president obama should have made -- as his campaign has, made that choice very, very clear in his opening statement and said you know, forward with me or backward with mitt. he didn't. and mitt romney, when he got his statement, he went right away and said that guy's been there for four years and look what a mess we're in and i can do it better.
